Della Lula Amason, 82, of Stigler, died Sunday at a Stigler hospital.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Kinta First Baptist Church with the Rev. Wendell Brown officiating.

Burial will be at Vamoosa Cemetery near Konowa, under the direction of Black's Funeral Home, Quinton.

Pallbearers are C.B. Coplen, Larry Hensley, Ken Rasiner, Johnny Ogle, Willard Stamback, and Robert Shook.

Mrs. Amason was born September 4, 1906, at Viola, Arkansas, the daughter of Thomas and Katherine Davis Alderson. She grew up in the Bristow and Stroud areas. She was married to Elzie Amason on March 11, 1923 in Lincoln County. He preceded her in death in 1971. She lived in Konawa for 25 years before moving to Spaulding and Oklahoma City. She moved to Stigler nine years ago. She was a lifelong homemaker and a member of the Stratford Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Geneva Vest, Willa Dean Prewitt, and Carolyn Sue Wilson of Kinta, Thelma Jean Goines, of Del City, and Olivia Mae Carrington of Socorro, NM.; one step-son Austin Taylor Amason, of Medford, Oregon; one brother, Sherman B. Alderson, of Muskogee; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.
