Thelma Jean Goines, age 85, left this world for her homecoming to be with her Lord and Savior on July 10, 2015. Jean was a devoted wife, a loving and guiding mother, doting grandmother, respectful mother-in-law, as well a loving daughter and sister. She enjoyed trips with her church group or family and any kind of family get-together. She also enjoyed dancing with her grandson and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her father, Elzie Amason; mother, Della Alderson Amason; sisters, Geneva Amason Vest, Dean Amason Prewitt, and Shorty Amason Carrington; brother, Austin Amason; husband, Aubrey D. Goines; daughter-in-law, Gloria Jean Johnson Goines; and grandson, Christopher Reiswig. She is survived by her son, Kennith D. Goines and his fiancee Marilyn Jones Smith; and her daughter, Karen Goines-Reiswig and her husband Curtis. She is also survived by granddaughter, Collette Goines Ingram and husband Micah; grandson, Daniel Goines and wife Marsha Maguffee Goines; granddaughter, Tabitha Goines Yancey and husband Eddie; and granddaughter, Larisa Reiswig Barnett and her husband Joe. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great- granddaughters; along with several nieces and nephews. Her Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service, 305 S. Sooner Rd., Midwest City, with Graveside at the Green Lawn Cemetery, Checotah, OK.
