Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Bybee France, originally scheduled for Friday, have been postponed until relatives arrive.
Mrs. France was born May 12, 1864, In Mountain Green, Utah. She spent her early life at Mountain Green, where she met Joseph K. France of Setterville, Utah. The couple were married January 23, 1880, in Peterson, Utah. this marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS temple.
Following the marriage, this couple lived at Mountain Green but in 1894 came to Idaho, settling first in Independence. They later moved to Blackfoot where Mrs. France operated a hospital. From Blackfoot they moved to Idaho Falls where they lived for the past several years. Mrs. France died in 1923.
Survivors include the following sons and daughters: George Grance of Dillon, Mont., Mrs Ellen Arave, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Sylvia Nield, Salt Lake city; Mrs. Dora Gillman, Twin Falls; Mrs Pearl Zook of Portland, Ore.; Maine France of Shelley; Elmer France, Twin Falls. She is also survived by one brother, Joseph Bybee, Pocatello, twelve granchildren, and two great grandchildren. The body is at the Williams Funeral home.
