Mrs. Hattie Arnold, daughter-in-law of R. B. Arnold, died yesterday morning at the home of her father, M. W. Howard near Stockwell. Her demise followed an illness of a little more than a year's duration. The deceased was the widow of Joseph G. Arnold who was employed on the Big Four Railroad and who was killed at Foster, on the St. Louis division, on March 2, 1900. One child, a daughter two years old, survives. Mrs. Arnold was born and reared in Lauramie township and had established many friendships by her womanly qualities. She was a true and devoted wife, a loving mother, and a kind and considerate neighbor and friend.
The funeral will be conducted from the Methodist Church in Stockwell this morning at 10:30 o'clock. Re. Charles Jakes will officiate, and the interment, Stockwell Cemetery.
