COPEN – Mrs. Goldie Linger, 54, of Copen, Braxton County, died Friday in West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, after a short illness.
Surviving: Morgan Linger; daughter, Mrs. Karen L. Campbell of Baltimore, Md.; son, Russell W. Westfall of Goldsboro, N.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Ira Prunty of Copen; sisters, Mrs. Retha Heater and Mrs. Ester Blake, both of Burnsville, Mrs. Irma Lou Smith of Spencer, Mrs. Patty Helmick of Fairmont; brothers, Gaylord Prunty of Charleston, Olen Prunty of Barberton, Ohio, Troy Prunty of Middletown, Ohio, Dennie Prunty of Charlotte, N. C.; 11 grandchildren.
Service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Baptist Church at Copen with the Rev. Robert Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Westfall Cemetery, Bonnie. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Stockert-Cutlip Funeral Home, Flatwoods. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the funeral.
