Mrs. Julia U. Wagner, 71, of Route 1, Malone, died today at 2:30 a.m. at her home.
Born Aug. 30, 1896, in the Town of Marshfield, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fuhrmann, she married Albin Wagner on May 23, 1922. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Church of Johnsburg and Christian Mothers Society of the church.
Surviving, besides the widower, are a son, Albin Jr, Route 1, New Holstein, two daughters, Mrs. Lucile Birschbach, Route 4 Fond du Lac and Mrs. Elmer Wagner, Route 1, Malone; two sisters, Mrs. Steve Sabel, Fond du Lac and Mrs. Marvin Miller, Route 2, New Holstein, three brothers, Christ and Ervin, Route 1, St. Cloud and Ben, Fond du Lac; and 33 grandchildren.
Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, one daughter and one grandson.
Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Church, Johnsburg.
The body will be in state after 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Robert Bier will officiate and burial will be in St. John’s Church cemetery.

Funeral services for Julia U. Wagner, who died Saturday, were held at 10:30 a.m. today at Uecker-Witt funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Johnsburg.
Rev. Robert Bier officiated. Burial was in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. The Christian Mothers attended the services in a body.
Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Albert Nett, Mrs. Jerry Freund, Mrs. Alvin Schmitz, Mrs. Ray Stephany, Mrs. Wilmer Freund and Mrs. Roman Sabel, members of the Christian Mothers.
Active pallbearers were Gerald Birschbach, Allen Birschbach, Joseph Wagner, Roger Fuhrmann, Wilmer Mueller and Walter Fuhrmann.
