Mrs. Leo Ott, 69, of Route 3, Gleason, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Holy Cross Hospital, Merrill, following a lingering illness.
The former Elizabeth Fuhrman was born Oct. 8, 1898, at St. Joseph, the daughter of Henry and Gertrude Stephany Fuhrman. She was married to Mr. Ott on Nov. 7, 1936, at Mount Calvary. Mrs. Ott was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Bloomville.
Survivors are her widower; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lester Jochinsen, New Holstein; two step-sons, Marvin, Lemon Grove, Calif., and Leroy of Merrill; three brothers, Chris and Ervin, both of St. Cloud, Minn., and Ben of Fond du Lac; three sisters, Mrs. Steven Sabel of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Alvin Wagner, Malone, and Mrs. Marvin Mueller, Marytown; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Taylor Funeral Home, Merrill. Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Rev. John the Baptist Church, Rev. John Usas officiating. Burial will be in S. Francis Cemetery in Merrill.
