In addition to his widow, Ruth E. Boyer Meloy, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John (Betty) Cunningham of Mifflintown, Mrs. Edward (Carol) Shevenock of Harrisburg, and Mrs.Kenneth (Gayle) Cisney of Port Royal; two brothers, Charles S.Meloy and Evard N. Meloy of Port Royal; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Rice of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Meloy retired in 1960 from the Port Royal National Bank where he had served as cashier and later was elected as president of the bank.
A veteran of World War I, having served in the U.S. Army, he was a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church; IOOF Lodge 131, Mifflintown; and American Legion Post 298 of Mifflintown.
Interment was in Old Church Hill Cemetery at Port Royal.
