Robert Lester Bailey, 10 West Chestnut St., Funkstown, died last evening, aged 77 years. Born at Charles Town, he was the son of the late Jesse E. and Alice (Hunsacker) Bailey. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Funkstown, and the Junior Order, United American Mechanics. Before retirement, Mr. Bailey was a printer for the Hagerstown Bookbinding and Printing Company. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Rosa Lee (Wolfe) Bailey; daughters, Mrs. Anna Lee Row, Mrs. R. Paul Reynolds, Mrs. Ralph Shipley, Funkstown; Mrs. F. Taylor Grimm, Bethesda; sons Clyde, Hagerstown, Route 3; R. Preston, Harold, Hagerstowon; Leon, Richard, Guy, Charles, Funkstown; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. M. J. Smith, Mrs. H. R. Cromer and Mrs. Marion Jones, Hagerstown. Funeral plans will be announced later.
