Norman Shroyer died at his Hyndman Rt.1 home March 25, 1955. He was born July 10, 1889 at Comps. The son of the late Adam and Lavina Clites Shroyer. He [was the husband of] Stella Emerick, whom he married December 22, 1919. Other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Alice Kennell, Mrs. Nora Miller, Mrs. Effie Kooster [sic: Custer], and Mrs. Pearl Shroyer, all of Hyndman. He was a member of Palo Alto E.U.B. Church. Funeral services Monday, March 28, 2:30 p.m. at Comps Church, Rev. Charles Raley and Rev. Charles Evans officiating, with interment in Comps Cemetery under direction of Zeigler Funeral service, Hyndman.
