Mrs. Stella Jane Shroyer, 71, RD 1, a retired school teacher, died last night in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, where she had been admitted Wednesday. She was born October 15, 1889, at RD 1, Fairhope, the daughter of the late John and Emma (Martz) Emerick. Her husband, Norman Shroyer, preceded her in death. She is survived by a brother, Ira Emerick, Wellersburg, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Shaffer, Hyndman. Mrs. Shroyer was a member of Hyndman Evangelical United Brethren Church. Services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Charles Raley, pastor of the Hyndman EUB Church. Interment will be in Comps Cemetery.
