Mrs. Alice Kennell, 83, of RD 1, Hyndman, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. A native of the Hyndman area, Mrs. Kennell was a daughter of the late Adam and Lovina (Clites) Shroyer and was the widow of Edward Kennell. She was a member of Comps Lutheran Church. Surviving are a son, Jonathan Kennell of here; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Custer and Mrs. Pearl Shroyer, both of RD, Hyndman; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Zeigler Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 -p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there Sunday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Kenneth Korns. Burial will be in Comps Cemetery.
