Estil Hawkins age 71, of Shelby, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at his residence.

He was born October 29, 1939, at Elkhorn City, Ky., a son of the late Harlen and Thelma Gibson Hawkins.

He was a retired factory worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Karen Gail Hawkins, one brother, Raymond, one sister, Dixie "Gladys".

Surviving are his wife, Imogene Cole Hawkins, one son, Jeffrey (Regina) Hawkins of Shelby, OH., one daughter, Sally Angela (Garland) Webb of Shelby, OH., two brothers, Arvin of Shelby, OH., and David of Marion, OH., nine sisters, Edith Faye of Portsmouth, OH., Lillian of MI., Garnet of IN., Naomi of FL., Lena Mae of Pike Co., Lyvone of Shelby, OH., Janice of Shelby OH., Shirley of Shelby, OH., and Beulah of Ash Camp, Ky., five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, with Don Crisp officiating. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery, Martin, Ky.

Visitation will be after 12 noon Thursday, March 10, 2011, at the funeral home
