She died Saturday March 5, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Wausa, NE.
Mildred G. Coke, daughter of Noah and Emma (Kamrath) Bolton, was born November 3, 1917, at Bloomfield, NE. She attended Bloomfield public schools in Bloomfield, NE. She married Earl E. Coke on September 1, 1943, in Minnesota. To this union seven children were born: Sandra, Patsy, Mickey, Timmy, Peggy, Judy, and Terry.
She was a member of the Christ Memorial United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, NE. Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and also loved her dogs.
Mildred went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2011. She resided at the Golden Living Center in Wausa for the past six years.
She is survived by her four daughters, Sandra (Tom Stengle) Coke, of Mission Hill, SD, Patsy (Bryon) True, of Sutherland, NE, Peggy Coke, of Bloomfield, NE, and Judy (Dale) Prochaska, Plainview, NE; two sons, Mickey Coke, of Norfolk, NE, and Tim Coke of Mission Hill, SD; 14 grandchildren, Shelly, Jason, Corey, Shawn, Jedidiah, Lisa, Dustin, Ashley, Julie, Shayla, Caleb, Cameron, Stacy, and Chris; numerous great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Marion (Wandadeane) Cocke; several nieces and nephews; and all her many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Coke; one son, Terry Coke; three brothers, W.C. Bolton, Roy Bolton, and Harvey Bolton in infancy; five sisters, Myrtle Wood, Gale Bathke, Mamie Bolton, Ida Norman, and Lena Wintermute.
Pallbearers will be Mildred's grandsons, Jason and Jedidiah True, Corey Coke, Shawn Prochaska, Dustin and Cameron Coke, Caleb Heiden, and great-grandson, Theisen Ziehmer. Organist will be Deb Hoffman and soloists will be Shayla Nicole Prochaska and Shelly Kay Eversole.
