Evelyn Marie Price, age 80 of Eidson, went to be with the Lord Friday March 4, 2011.
She was a member of Grassy Springs Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star of Sneedville, Chapter #443.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bascom Price; daughters, Angela Price, Retha Price and Donna Lamb; son, Jimmy Price; sisters, Elsie Short, Lucille Helton, Mary Ellen and Jean Amyx; brothers, Fred and Kenneth Amyx; parents, Harvey and Bonnie Amyx.
She is survived by her children, Shirley and late husband Leslie Houston, Bascom Jr (Diane) Price, Ronnie Price, Michael Price, Yolanda (Marvin) Fugate, Teresa Parker, Connie (Dennis) Wolfe, Johnny (Becky) Price, and Jeanne (Rick) Sims; son-in-law, Roger Lamb; 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Sue Thomas, Ruth Amyx, Betty (Cleve) Doran; sister-in-law, Fodell Amyx; and special friends Charles Debord and Maggie Payne.
The family will receive friends Sunday March 6, 2011 from 5 – 8 PM at Colboch-Price Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday March 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Grassy Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Porter, Rev. CJ Dalton and Rev. Norman Sauceman. Graveside service will follow in the Price Cemetery.
