Donna G. Lamb, age 45, born October 16, 1963, of Eidson, passed away at her home Monday, January 26, 2009, following a brief illness.
She was saved at Compromise Missionary Baptist Church, and later moved her membership to Grassy Springs Missionary Baptist Church of Eidson, where she remained a faithful member until her death.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bascom Price; sisters, Angie and Retha Price; and brother, Jimmy Price.
She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Roger Lamb; daughter, Whitley Lamb of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Bill Livesay; two grandchildren, Conner and Aaden Livesay; mother, Evelyn Price of Eidson; four brothers, Bascom Price, Jr., Ronnie Price, and Johnny Price of Rogersville, and Michael Price of Mooresburg; five sisters, Shirley Houston of Church Hill, Yolanda Fugate, Teresa Parker, Jeanne Sims of Eidson, and Connie Wolfe of Treadway; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Lisa Manis, Debbie Lawson, and a host of friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at Colboch-Price Funeral Home in the upper chapel. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 29, 2009, at Grassy Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Porter, the Rev. Travis Porterfield and the Rev. Jack Free officiating. The body will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Price Cemetery.
