Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 15 in the Centerville 3rd and 6th Wards Chapel for Mrs. Ida Garrett Hepworth, 78, of 645 W. 400 South, Centerville, who died Saturday, August 9 of a heart ailment.
She was born Feb. 16, 1891 in Bountiful, a daughter of Henry and Mary Ann Ashdown Garrett.
Mrs. Hepworth married Joseph Edmund Hepworth on Sept. 16 [1916] in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. He died March 22, 1951.
She was a member of Centerville Third Ward and former member of the Tabernacle Choir and a former member of the Chadmand Chorus.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters, Joseph G., Bountiful; Lewis G., Mrs. Clyde (Amelia) White and Mrs. Ida Smith, all of Centerville. Mrs. Ruth Koch of Los Angeles, Calif.
Also surviving are ten grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; 3 brothers and 3 sisters, Joseph, Jed and Edward all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Rose Burningham, Mrs. Elizabeth Atkinson, and Mrs. Dave (Martha) Wiseman all of Bountiful.
Friends may call at Bountiful Union Mortuary Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Bountiful Memorial Park.
