Like all his family, he was brought up in the Christian Faith, and was a member of the Assembly of God. Fred became a welder, working for C.E.Natco in Tulsa. He lived most of his adult life in Sapulpa, a suburb of Tulsa. Fred passed away after a long battle with cancer, and is survived by his wife, two sons, three brothers, seven sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews, who mourn his passing and miss him so much. He was predeceased by his parents and one of his brothers, the Reverend Gerald Varnell .

A big thank you to our son Dennis, for his work on his Uncle Fred's memorial. Dennis felt close to Fred and misses his uncle greatly.

Many heartfelt thanks to Darlene♥ for sponsoring Fred's page.
