     AMERICAN FALLS, April 25 - Searchers concentrated their 12-day vigil in the area near Duck point in the Snake river today after finding the body of one of three Pocatello men who were lost on a fishing trip April 13.
     The body of 34-year-old Vernal Coates was pulled from the river yesterday by Mark Kelso, Pocatello. The other missing men are Ray Little, 50, and Joe Hill, 26.
     Their capsized boat was found near Massacre Rocks the day they disappeared. Later, a glove and a cap belong to the missing men were found in the same area.
     Vernal Bert Coates was born Nov. 17, 1920, at Carey, a son of Justin A. and Annie Evelyn Farnworth Coates. He married Bonnie June Courtier Oct. 14, 1944, at Nampa.
     He entered service of Pacific Fruit Express June 4, 1946, at Nampa, later went to Ogden and came to Pocatello three years ago.
     Coates was veteran of World War II, serving, in Europe with the 931st field artillery.
     Surviving are his widow; two sons, Larry Don and David Michael: two daughters, Vickie Jeanne and Linda Jo; five brothers, W. J. and Percy, Nampa; Franklin, Benton City, Wash.; Arthur, Compton, Calif., and Earl, Ogden, and a sister, Annie Elizabeth Coates, Nampa. Funeral services will be Tuesday nt p.m. at Nampa LDS chapel, with arrangements in charge of Manning funeral chapel.
