     NAMPA—Services are pending for Justin Arthur Coates, 67, of 404 Twentieth avenue north, who died Thursday night following a heart attack.
     Mr. Coates was born July 21, 1885, at Mt. Pleasant, Utah, and for the last eight years had been an employe of King Packing company.
     He was a member of the Third ward LDS church.
     He moved to Carey, Idaho, in 1906 from Mt. Pleasant and also lived at Richfield, where he engaged in farming, before he came to Nampa in 1929.
     His wife, Mrs. Annie Elvina Coates, died July 20, 1943, and one son, Alvin E. Coates, also preceded him in death.
     Surviving are six sons, William J. and Perry Coates, both of Nampa, Arthur J. Coates, of Sacramento, Cal., Frank Coates of Benton City, Wash., Vernal Coates of Pocatello and Earl Coates of Ogden, Utah; one daughter, Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Coates of Richfield; two brothers, Will Coates of Boise, and Hiram Coates ot Gresham, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Colstrom of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Grace Blockwell of Carey, and 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
