Raymond W. Friday, 57, formerly of Oshkosh, died Monday at 6:30 p.m. at his home in Chicago. He was in Oshkosh on Dec. 26, 1915, son of Frederick and Hattie Friday, and was married in Chicago on June 7, 1948, to Miss Evelyn Pugh.

Mr. Friday had been a cab driver and musician in Chicago, where he had resided the past 24 years. He served with the Navy during World War II.

Surviving are one son; three daughters; one brother, Lester Friday, Oshkosh, and three sisters, Miss Dorothy Friday, Mrs. Richard Anderson and Mrs. Vernon Frohrib, all of Oshkosh.

Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Konrad Funeral Home, with the Rev. B. II. Romanowski, pastor of St. Paul United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in the veterans plot of Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday until the hour of services.
