While at work at the Wisconsin Axle division, Fred Friday, 59, of 459 Ceape street, suffered a heart attack and died about 8:30 o'clock this morning. He sustained the heart attack while in the plant yard, police said. The city ambulance was called and took him to Mercy hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. G. A. Steele, county coroner.

Mr. Friday was born May 28, 1888, at Chilton, and had been a resident of Oshkosh for the last 36 years. On June 21, 1913, in this city, he was married to Miss Hattie Klein.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Vernon Frohrib and the Misses Dorothy and Phyllis Friday, all of Oshkosh; two sons, Lester and Raymond Friday, both of Oshkosh; two sisters, Mrs. August Butt of Oshkosh and Mrs. Louis Multer of Mt. Vernon, Mo., two brothers, August Friday of Oshkosh and Albert -Friday of Chilton; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Konrad funeral home, with the Rev. Edwin Becker officiating. Interment will take place in Riverside cemetery. The remains may be viewed at the funeral home from Monday afternoon until the time of the services.
