Rosewell Gagnon, March 23, 1919 - Nov. 13, 1992, Rosewell J. GAGNON, 73, Rt. 1, Silver Lake, died at 5:01 p.m. Friday at his home. He was born in Roann to Edward and Armin BLAIS GAGNON. On June 28, 1941 in Akron he married Grace P. PONTIUS, who preceded in death. He was a farmer and was retired from the Champion Door Company, Columbia City. He also worked at Miller & Sons, Silver Lake. He was a member of the Silver Creek Church of God and pitched horse shoes in many contests. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Barry (Judy) BLUE and Mrs. Steven (Cindy) BUCHER, both of Silver Lake; five grandchildren; three brothers, O'Neill [GAGNON], Burket; Blair [GAGNON], Ligonier, and Russel [GAGNON], South Whitley. Preceding in death were two sisters and six brothers. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Silver Creek Church of God with the Rev. Ray W. WOLFE officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, and for an hour before services at the church. Memorials may be made to the Silver Creek Church of God.
