The funeral of Mrs. Claude HOFFMAN, 26, who resided one mile east of Akron, was held Friday afternoon at Silver Creek Bethel church. The deceased, who formerly was Miss Stella GAGNON, a native of Illinois, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward GAGNON, who now live in Akron, succumbed to an attack of Brights disease Wednesday at 11:30 a.m., after an illness of but five days. For approximately sixteen years, the deceased had lived near Akron. In 1922 she was married to Claude HOFFMAN. To the union were born two children, one of whom, Helen Louise [HOFFMAN], aged nine months, survives. The widower; a sister, Loretta HANCOCK, of near Akron and ten brothers, Walter [GAGNON], Floyd [GAGNON], O'Neill [GAGNON], Arthur [GAGNON], Russel [GAGNON], Wilfrid [GAGNON], Lawrence [GAGNON], Orville [GAGNON], Roswell [GAGNON] and Blair [GAGNON], also survive. Mrs. Hoffman was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.
