Arthur R. GAGNON, 73, Rt. 1, Claypool, died at 12:25 p.m. Saturday at the Prairie View Nursing Home in Warsaw. Mr. Gagnon was born April 16, 1907 in Iroquois County, Illinois to Edward and Laura BLASE GAGNON. He had lived most of his life in the Claypool area. He was married to Violet HAMILTON Nov. 2, 1929. She survives. He was retired from Sonoco Products Co., Akron. He was a member of the Silver Creek Church of God. Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Robie (Clarabell) BROWN, Houston, Texas; a son, Ronald [GAGNON], Claypool; five brothers, O'Neal [GAGNON], Akron; Russell [GAGNON], South Whitley; Rosewell [GAGNON], Akron, Orville [GAGNON], Akron, and Blair [GAGNON], Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by a son, two sisters, and four brothers. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Silver Creek Church of God with the Rev. Lowell BURRUS officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Akron.
