Lloyd Bennett 61, Union Grove, Wis., died April 2, 1971 in the Franklin Hospital, Benton after an illness of two months. He was visiting in Benton with relatives.
The Rev. Carl O. Whittington, the Rev L. C. Irby and Rev Clinton Woodfin will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton.
Mr. Bennett was born Feb. 28, 1910 in Franklin County the son of Charles and Elnora Dillon Bennett. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and the American Federation of Labor Local 892, both of Union Grove. Before his death, he was employed as an aide at the State Hospital in Union Grove.
He is survived by his wife, the former Flo Clinton; his mother, Mrs Elnora Bennett, of Benton, brothers, Lowell Bennett of Macedonis and Humbert Bennett of Benton; and sisters, Mrs Fay Moore of Zeigler, Mrs. Jewel Irby of Murray, Ky., Mrs Eva Whittington of Union Grove, Wis., and Mrs Marjorie Lewis of Benton.
