Ronald Ray Perry, age 82, of Alma passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Masonic Pathways. He was born October 9, 1938 in Alma the son of Roy and Anna (VanHorn) Perry. He married Judy Reed on November 25, 1964 at his parent's home in Alma. Ron worked for Michigan Chemical, before working at Alma Products and retiring after over 20 years of service. He attended Seville Community Church of God and was a past member of the St. Louis Moose.
Ron enjoyed the out-of-doors, especially, hunting, fishing, gardening, doing yard work and camping. He was also a train enthusiast and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He could often be found working around the house and in his workshop, where for over 25 years he built and painted the posts for Century 21, installing and removing the signs when needed. His greatest joy was spending time with family.
Ron is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Perry; four children, Teresa "Teri" (Gary) Morse, Trudi Clark, Tony (Elouise) Perry, Telly (Laura) Perry; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Richards, Doug Clark, Jeremy Richards, Heather Houtman, Katelyn Morse, Kendalyn Perry, Alexis Cervantes, Janna Richardson, Lauren Perry & Andrew Morse; and 11 great-grandchildren, Skye Singer, Gavin Singer, KayLee Singer, Milo Clark, Abram Cervantes, Aislyn Richards, Luke Richards, Molly Houtman, Anakin Cervantes, Mackenzie Houtman & Adrian Cervantes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Steven Perry, daughter, Traci Kress; two grandsons, Ronald Clark and Justyn Richards; and his siblings, Violet Hyde, Dorothy Austin, Doris Todd, Vivian Thrush, Leland Perry and Lyle Perry.
