Lyle, 89, of Alma passed away on Monday August 21, 2017 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Midland. He was the son of Roy L. and Anna (Vanhorn) Perry.

He married Catherine Baxter in 1946. Following her passing in 1968, he married Naomi Cooley at the St. Louis Church of Christ On July 25, 1970.

Lyle worked at Alma Products for 44 years, retiring in 1991 as a supervisor. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, spoiling his dogs, and making people laugh with his jokes and stories.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi; three sons Douglas (Julie) Perry, Daniel (Melody) Perry, and Dean (Barb Oakley) Perry, ten grand children; Jeff Perry, Jill Neely, Terrill Perry, Trever Perry, Tiffiny Perry, Tonia Starzer, Amanda English, Case Perry, Crystal Perry, and Shawn Perry. six step-grandchildren Shannon Madden, Melissa Maclaren, Matthew Oakley, Scott Spletzer, Tyler Spletzer, Shena Stone and many great-grandchildren. Also his siblings, Vivian (Lyle) Thrush, Ron (Judy) Perry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Catherine (Baxter) Perry, Siblings: Leland Perry, Violet Hyde, Dorothy Austin, Doris Todd, and Granddaughter Danielle Perry.

Memorial service were held at Lux-Moody Wolfel Funeral home on Monday, August 28, 2017 with Pastor Keith Wise officiating. Interment immediately followed at Chapel Gardens Cemetery.
