On 14 April 1934 Lillie married Percy Llewellyn Thomas,Jr. in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX. They had no children.

Lillie Clinger Thomas, 97, of Wichita Falls and formerly of Austin died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995. She was a member of the Senior Adult 3 Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church. She attended public school in Austin and also the University of Texas in Austin. She taught school for several years before marrying Percy L. Thomas, Jr. who died in Nov. 1961. Mrs. Thomas moved to Wichita Falls from San Antonio, Texas, in 1963 to be with her daughter and family.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Lewis of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchildren, Kristin Lewis Schuele of Rheine, Germany, and Brian Humphrey of The Colony, Texas, and two grandchildren ( as quoted).
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM,Thursday in the Oakwood Cemetery Annex with Charles Ellsworth Clinger officiating.
