Douglas Rites Conducted
Robert Joseph "Bobby" Douglas, 51, of Camden died Friday. Born in Lee County, he was a son of Robert Daniel Douglas and the Late Sarah Benton Douglas. He was a retired painter. Surviving in addition to his father are four daughters, Mrs. Billy ( Janice) Price, Mrs. Brenda Floyd, Mrs. Jerry (Rosa) Strickland and Miss Gail Douglas of Sumter; a son James D. Douglas of the Bronx, ,N.Y.; five sisters, Mrs. Alvy (Mary) Bowers, and Mrs. Mack (Vernell) Cain of Camden, and Mrs. Johnnie Mae Huckabaa and Mrs.Marie Aughtman of Andalusia, Ala. ; two brothers, John H. and Thurman Douglas of Andalusia Ala; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Cody Richardson, Wayne McCloud, Charles Ray, Johnny Catoe, Buster Furniss, Richard Randall and Mitch Hopkins.
