More Information Found About Bert Bryant
**A body believed to be that of Charles William Hinton, 49, Pollard, was found Thursday afternoon in the government pasture east of Pollard. The find was reported to county officers about 6 p. m. Thursday by J. C. Holloway and Bert Bryant. The badly decomposed body was beyond recognition, no clothes or shoes were nearby. Identification was made by the hair color, hands, teeth and the fact that Charles Hinton had been missing since April 6.

Life Legacy

Bert Bryant trapped, especially during the winter months, for small animals such as Raccoons, Opossums, Foxes, etc. After they moved from Pollard to Idabel, he'd spend time at his daughter Jewel's house, so he could set the traps and run them early in the mornings. He always had the wild animal smell on his clothing. Jewel's kids would sit on his lap while he was inside resting, and some still remember the animal smell. It wasn't a stinky smell, just a unique smell.
