Lena Franklin Brandenburg Henry, 72, of Irvine died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born Nov. 26, 1938 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Fred Wesley and Willie Hume Richardson Brandenburg. She was a retired Estill County Circuit Court clerk and a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County all of her life. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Kirk and Joetta Brandenburg; and one brother, James Brandenburg.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Stepp and husband, Marty of Estill County, and Amie E. Henry of Estill Coutny; one son, John Henry and his wife Tricia of Estill County; three sisters Delma Lee Lakes of Estill County, Madonna Jenkins and husband, Boyd of Estill County and Evely Williams and husband , Don of Estill County; three brothers, Russell Brandenburg and wife, Angie of Elizabethtown, Fred Brandenburg Jr. and wife, Christine of Estill County and Harold Brandenburg and wife, Carol of Estill County; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Beverly Arvin with burial at the Henry Cemetery. Citizens Voice and Times, Estill County, Ky 1/13/2011
