Lillian Brandenburg Kirk, 85, of Irvine, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hopital after a long illness. She was born July 11, 1925 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Fred Wesley and Willie Hume Richardson Brandenburg. She was co-owner of Kirk's Concrete and was a volunteer for the Kentucky River Foothills. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had lived in Estill County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Adrean Kirk and her daughter, Brenda Gail Harris.

Survivors include four sisters, Madonna Jenkins and husband, Boyd of Estill County, Delma Lee Lakes of Estill County, Lena B. Henry of Estill County and Evelyn Williams and husband, Don of Estill County; three brothers, Russell Brandenburg and wife, Angie of Elizabethtown, Fred Brandenburg Jr. and wife, Christine of Estill County and Harold Brandenburg and wife, Carol of Estill County; two grandchildren, Cameron Harris and wife, Jennifer and Kevin Harris and wife, Susan; seven great-grandchildren, Brendan Reid Harris, Shean McKay Harris, Keil Christian Harris, Katherine Irene Harris, Patrick Evan Harris, Megan Illene Harris and Haley Renee Harris; and one great-great grandchild, Molly Harris.

Funeral services Nov. 19 at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home
Chapel with Bro. Keith Sands and Bro. Dennis Williams with burial at the West Irvine Cemetery. Pallbearers were her nephews.
