Anna Mae Morris, the daughter of Thomas J. and Sarah (Davis) Thomas, was born January 17, 1892 near Carroll, Nebraska. She was raised on a farm and attended rural school. She was united in marriage to Edwal Morris on February 26, 1913 at her parents' home near Carroll. The couple farmed more than 50 years near Carroll. She was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church and the United Presbyterian Women.
She is preceded in death by her husband in 1970, one son and two brothers.
She is survived by one son, Erwin Morris of Carroll, Nebraska; two daughters, Mrs. Lem (Tillie) Jones of Carroll, Nebraska and Mrs. Clarence (Eva) Hoemann of Hoskins, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Thomas of Carroll, Nebraska and Lloyd Thomas of Seattle, Washington; and one sister, Mrs. Della Baker of Baker, Oregon.
