Francis Marion Hubbard, 81, died at his home near Romine, Saturday, after suffering a recent stroke of paralysis. Mr. Hubbard was born in Taylor County March 21, 1857, the son of Walker T. and Rachel Watson Hubbard. He was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church.

Mr. Hubbard's survivors are his wife, Mrs. Rose Page Hubbard, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Annis Miller. Funeral services were held Monday at the Asbury church with the Revs. V.V. Capps and J.L. Piercy in charge. Interment followed in the Griffin Cemetery.
