Eli Virgin, according to Howard L. Leckey's book, "The Tenmile Country and Its Pioneer Families, states that Eli was born January 25, 1821. He does NOT state where he was born. Eli's 1850 Census record notes that he was born in Pennsylvania.
Leckey's book also notes that Eli "died in an accident". It does not give ANY specifics about where or how he died, but states that the death occurred in "July of 1859". As of 1850, Eli was single and living with his parents. As of June 11, 2013, it can not be determined whether Eli was married at the time of death or not or whether he had any children.
