George Fassnacht, 96, 611 Topeka, died Friday, Nov. 6, 1959, in a Topeka Hospital. He was born July 18, 1863, at Muscotah and lived in the Attica community before coming here 40 years ago. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Otterben Evangelical United Brethren Church and a 69 - year member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Anthony.

Mr. Fassnacht is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James F. Montgomery of the home and Mrs. George Wolfe of Savonburg: a stepdaughter, Mrs George Schiffbauer of Belleville, Ill., two sons, Roy E. Fassnacht of Camp Verde, Ariz., and H. W. Fassnacht of Modesto, California, 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two bothers, Frank Fassnacht, of Atchison and Charles Fassnacht of Salina, and a sister, Miss Edith Fassnacht of Muscotah.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Penwell - Gable chapel with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
