Mrs. Dicey Brown, 82, 735 Vesper, died early Sunday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted about 12 hours earlier, She had a heart ailment. She was born Nov. 3, 1893 at Valley Falls and lived in Topeka more than 50 years. She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church. She was married to James S. Montgomery in Topeka in 1912, He died in 1964. She later married Ralph Brown. She was the daughter of George W. and Sara (Nevins) Fassnacht, both deceased.

She is survived by a son, Duane Montgomery: a step -son Fred Brown; step - daughter Mrs. Erma Seneder; two brothers, Roy and Hosmer Fassnacht, two sisters -Mrs. Elsie Wolfe and Mrs Eythle Schiffbauer; two grandsons and a great grandson.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell Gable Funeral Home, with burial at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Evangelical Covenant Church at 600 Harrison, Topeka.
