Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hughey-Pulley Funeral Home, with Mr. J. Howard Kraps officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Dykes was born March 15, 1904, in Jefferson county, the daughter of Frank Z. and Sarah Eva (Talley) Bruce. She was married at Vandalia in 1923 to Marion P. Dykes who survives.
She was a member of Central Church of Christ for over 45 years.
Mrs. Dykes is survived by her husband, Marion Dykes; a son, Richard Dykes of Mt. Vernon, two daughters, Mrs. James B. (Norma Lee) Kelley of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Andy (Jane) Hutchens of Ina; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Jack (Wave) Warner of Inglewood, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters.
