KANNAPOLIS - Mr. Hubert Spencer Lyerly, 88, retired Taylor Mattress Co. salesman, died March 26, 1994, at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital.

Funeral is 2 p.m. Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight.

Survivors are his wife, Mildred; sons, Spencer Lyerly of Durham, Ralph Johnston of Shallotte; daughters, Mrs. Peggy Heintz, Mrs. Norma Yoos; brothers, Edgar Lyerly of Cleveland, N.C., Jonathan Lyerly Jr. of Mooresville.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 201 Vance St., Kannapolis, N.C. 28081.
