Services for Stephen Manny Clark were held Friday, February 18, from the Funeral Home in Chariton. He died Wednesday morning, February 16 in his room at the Chariton Hotel. The 2:30 p.m. services were conducted by the Rev. Silas Anderson. Burial was in Woodburn Cemetery.
Stephen Manny Clark was born April 6, 1877, in Woodburn, son of M. S. and Theresa Elmore Clark. He was a long time resident of Woodburn and moved to Chariton seven years ago.
Surviving relatives include: daughters, Fay Bretz of Mountain Home, Arkansas; Marline Malone of Chariton; Ethel Miller of Mesa, Arizona; son, Roy Clark of Buckeye, Arizona; 11 grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Lillian Marker of Des Moines.
