Eathel Hinman (1893-1967) Bell Tillotson was born the daughter of Henry Hinman and Mary (mother's birth last name was Vaughn) (1863-) Hinman.

Her known sibling: Randall Wright Hinman (1909 - 1990).

She was the wife of Joseph Clifford (1891-) Bell. They married on Sept. 29, 1912.

Their known children: Kathryn Bell (1915-) and Anna (some census said Annabelle) Bell (1918-) and Thomas (1919-).

There was marriage listed between Eathel Bell and James Tillotson in the Olean Times Herald 3/1945 Thursday Dec. 1, 1945:

Announcement is made of the marriage of Mrs Eathel Bell and James Tillotson, both of Portville.

The ceremony was performed on Wednesday evening, November 24th at Obi, Rev. l. M. Cosler was the officiating clergyman. Mr and Mrs, Tillotson will reside in Portville.

And another note from Portville Review 1951:

Portville Rebekah Lodge, No. 663,
had its regular meeting Monday
night at Odd Fellows Hall…

…Plans were made to invite the
District Deputy President and her
staff of officers to the next meeting.
The committee in charge of the
lunch will be Mrs. Griffith, chairman,
Mrs. Mildred Stuckel, Mrs,
Maude Winegardner, Mrs. George
Brisbee, Mrs. Carrie Limerick, Mrs.
Essie Griffith, Mrs. Eathel Tillotson
and Mrs. Norma Baker.
(shows together at least until 1951 ((6yrs)

She may have married James after Joseph passed away but still wanted to be buried by Joseph, they may have had the grave already purchased, or she divorced James Tillotson and regained the Bell name. She was listed as Eathel Tillotson Bell, I changed to Eathel Hinman Bell. I haven't found an obit and used censuses and newspaper articles to prove this much.

Interment 11 April 1967.

Thanks to Cherie Officer, Mark Wietzel and Archives.
