John W. Shuler, 59, died in Jefferson hospital in Roanoke Monday morning, the 15th. He had been in declining health for several months and entered the hospital two weeks ago.
Mr. Shuler was the son of the late W. M. Shuler of Marion.
He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Nellie Hicks, two sons, Claude and Carl Shuler and one daughter, Miss Kathleen Shuler, all of Atkins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Pleasant Hill church. Services will be conducted by Rev. W. D. Farmer, assisted by Rev. Burris.
