John Floyd Skinner, 70, who lived on Rt. 1, died at 7 p.m. Friday in Home hospital Lafayette, where he had been a patient 10 days. Born near Stockwell, he was married to Bessie Lee in 1911. He was a farmer and lived most of his life in and near Stockwell, and was a member of Linden Methodist church. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Johnson of Morocco and Mrs. Lucille Harshman of Clarks Hill; one son, John Skinner of Lafayette, and three brothers, Merle and Clyde, both of Stockwell, and Glenn of Lafayette.
