Stockwell - Clyde O. skinner, 84, a retired farmer, died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday in Home Hospital, Lafayette. He had been a patient there 10 days. He was born in Lauramie Township, farmed in that area, and later retired from the Stockwell Lumber Co. He was married in 1914 at Lafayette to Claire Caldwell, who survives. Mr. Skinner was a member of Stockwell United Methodist church and was a member of the church choir for 30 years. He was also a member of Lauramie Township Farm Bureau. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Marjorie) Gipe of Lafayette, and Mrs. James (Eunice) Richard, both of Lafayette. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at Dickerson Funeral Home, Stockwell. Services there 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Jack Williams officiating interment Johnson cemetery. Also surviving are four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One grandchild, Barbara, preceded him in death in 1949.
