Miss Vernie Chitwood daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Chitwood, died July 22 at the family residence, two miles east of Minco. She was 25 years old and was to be married last Sunday. Her wedding garments formed her shroud. Rev. Satterfield of the M.E. church conducted the funeral and interment was in the Minco Cemetery
