Joe Hannan, 50, of rural Fairbank, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, in his home after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Grace United Methodist Church, Oelwein, by the Rev. Robert Dagit. Burial: Stanley Cemetery, Stanley. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, and one hour before service time Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie; a daughter, Angela Scardena of Rohnert Park, Calif.; a son, Michael of Fresno, Calif.; three brothers, Wayne, Richard and Dave, all of Oelwein; and six sisters, Mildred Smith of Waterloo, Elaine Britten of New Auburn, Wis., Kay Bouck and Margaret Miller, both of Oelwein, Karen Lamphier of Fayette and Janet Rhoades of Maynard.
