Funeral services for Leah Dorothy Vincent were at 2 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel, Rev. Thompy Palmer officiated. Committal services followed in the Oakdale Cemetery, Oakdale.
Leah, 86, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in the Grace Home of Alexandria. She was born on April 9, 1924 in Oakdale to the union of Felder Brabham and Bertha Linzay Brabham. She was a Baptist by faith, a Registered Nurse (R.N.), and a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
Her parents; husband, Roy Vincent; and three brothers, R.T. Brabham, Raymond Brabham and Monroe Brabham precedes her in death.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, one son, Timothy Vincent of Oakdale; two daughters, Dianne Vincent of Oakdale and Nancy Hulick and Paul of Oakdale; one brother, Jimmy Brabham of Oakdale; three sisters, Mavis Fontenot of Oakdale; Loretta Faught of Alexandria and Norma Haggard of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Joshua Hulick, Paul Hulick, Dewey Diboll, Lindsey Diboll, Michael Grantham and Luke Ballard.
