Mrs. Ida Smith, 81 years, entered into rest Saturday evening 15 Feb 1976 in Hackley Hospital, following a brief illness. Born October 7,1893 in Finland, she came to the United States 64 years ago, settling in Muskegon, where she had lived since that time. On Oct.23,1915 in Muskegon, the former Ida Kronberg was united in marriage to John A. Smith, who survives her. Besides her husband, Mrs Smith is survived by 2 sons, Raymond J. Smith and Roy E. Smith, both of Muskegon, a brother Arthur Kronberg of Muskegon, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The funeral rites for Mrs. Smith will be Wednesday afternoon, 2:30 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel of the Achterhoff Mortary, with the Rev.George W. Reith, Pastor, Orchard View Congregational Church, officiating. Mrs. Smith will be laid to rest in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Muskegon.
