Wilma Maxine Fox, 70, of Meadow Bridge, died Thursday, April 19, 1999 at a Fairlea medical center following a long illness.
Born March 12, 1929, at Hinton, she was the daughter of William and Mary Burks Blagg.
She had been a lifelong resident of Meadow Bridge, a member of the Meadow Bridge Missionary Baptist Church and a cook for the Meadow Bridge School System for 23 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stewart Fox, who died in December 1997; one sister, Mae Blagg; two brothers, James Blagg and Lee Blagg.
Survivors include one daughter, June Efaw of Newton Falls, ohio, one sister, Juanita Self of Louisville, Kentucky; four half-sisters, Betty Stump and Kay Hunter of Rainelle, Connie Garten of Danese and Kendall Lane of North Carolina; one brother, Hubert Blagg of Russellville; three half brothers, William Blagg, Jr. of Danese, Carl Blagg of North Carolina and Dennis of Virginia; two grandchildren, Myrna Young and Joseph Efaw; two great grandchildren, Jasper Efaw and Brittany Young.
Services will be at 11am Monday at the Wallace and Wallace Chapel in Rainelle, with the Rev. Mike Whisman officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Meadow Bridge Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
